“Nomade”  Hanomag-Mercedes club

In 1996, a couple of Hanomag/Mercedes van owners founded the Nomade club, aimed at fellow owners of these 1960s and 70s vans renowned for their front-wheel drive and rounded front. These vans are known both under the Hanomag and Mercedes brandname, since Mercedes took over Hanomag in the early 70s.

These vans carry the following names/type markers:
            Hanomag F20, F25, F30 and F35
            Mercedes L206D, L207, L306D and L307

In Germany, they are also known as Harburger Transporters.

Nomade and its members strive to keep these remarkable vans on the road. Moreover, we love travelling with our vans and we are very sociable.

The club offers its members the following amenities:
-  A large warehouse stocked with new and second-hand parts
-  A network of people who offer parts in the Netherlands and elsewhere
-  A quarterly newsletter full of news and stories
-  Two weekend get-togethers, where a lot of information is exchanged, but which are also just a lot of fun
   (check the news stories)
- A network ‘for each other’ (members supporting one another in diverse matters)
- A forum where vans and parts are offered and (technical) questions are answered.
This forum also contains a lot of information proffered by co-members.
- And, last but not least, this website. This site contains information, news and links to other websites of interest.

All in all, if you want to keep enjoying your van, this is the club to join.

Members can provide content for this site, e.g. by providing pictures and travel stories, experiences and so much more.
